A full-size refillable pen in solid bronze from Tom’s Studio, who are just down the road from us in Somerset. Bronze gives it a good weight in the hand, and the fine knurled cap closes with a firm click. Tom took his cue from classic British design, old cars and transistor radios. The pens are turned on precision lathes by a Somerset team that also makes watch parts and aerospace components.
It comes with 11 tips, so the same pen works as a fineliner, a felt-tip or an everyday writing pen. When it runs out, refill it with fountain pen ink rather than throwing it away.
